His experience spans fly fishing New England’s lakes, ponds and rivers, coastal and offshore fishing throughout Ne
A lifelong Maine resident and Registered Maine Guide, Mike Webber has spent his life immersed in the outdoors. From the rugged coastline to the deep woods, Mike’s passion for wild places and handcrafted adventures runs deep. His experience spans fly fishing New England’s lakes, ponds and rivers, coastal and offshore fishing throughout New England and in the Florida Keys, canoeing Maine’s rivers, kayaking Maine’s coast, .paddle surfing in Maine and Costa Rica, and over two decades as a volunteer and professional ski patroller. Guiding runs in Mike’s family. An uncle was a Guide in Jackman, Maine in the mid 1900’s. Mike still has many of his Guide tools like a traditional pack basket, bamboo fly rod, and his rifle.
Mike is also an advanced open water scuba diver, with dives logged across New England, the Florida Keys, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Africa. He and his wife spent several years living aboard their sailing catamaran, exploring the East Coast from Maine to Key West and beyond.
